Issue

Issue: On certain side-by-side UTV's, if the drive belt breaks during operation, the belt cords could wrap around the primary or secondary clutch. If this happens while the clutch is still rotating, the cords can cut through the inner clutch cover and damage the fuel line. This could cause a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a bracket to protect the fuel line from damage when a drive belt breaks. To reduce the safety risk, Polaris recommends that you should avoid riding your UTV until the recall repairs have been completed.
