Wondertoys 27 pcs Wooden Magnetic Alphabet Train Set recalled due to presence of superglue lacking a child-resistant closure in the set
Immediately stop using the recalled wooden toy train and discard the tube of superglue. The wooden toy train may be returned to the retailer for a refund or disposed of in regular household waste.
This recall involves Wondertoys 27 PCS Wooden Alphabet Train Toy. The bright coloured train set includes one engine car and 26 piece alphabet letter cars for young children. Each train body is individual and are connected by magnets on the end of the trains. Each train has four sliding wheels. The train toy can be identified by the following numbers: ASIN: B08JLVD7QN FNSKU: X002NMNKR9
The box with the train set contains a tube of superglue, which is a quick skin-bonding cyanoacrylate adhesive packaged without a child-resistant container. The cyanoacrylate adhesive does not meet the labelling and child-resistant packaging requirements for quick skin-bonding adhesives required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
This type of glue is capable of bonding skin instantly. The lack of child-resistant packaging could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness or injury.
As of March 8th, 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents or injury in Canada.
