Product description

This recall involves a toy containing a small house with figurines, a swing and other plastic accessories with lights and sound.

The product can be identified by model number 178969 and by UPC 627997789697. This information appears on a label affixed to the back of the box. “Imported by VPP” also appears on the label.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that various components of the toy can break into small pieces, posing a choking hazard to young children. These pieces can also have sharp edges, posing a risk of injury to young children.

Neither Health Canada nor Variétés Pierre Prud'homme Inc. has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.

Approximately 147 of the recalled toys were sold in Canada.

The recalled toy was sold from August 26, 2014 to December 16, 2014.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately take the recalled toy away from children and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
