Advisory details
Ottawa, June 22, 2012 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Pâtisseries Sanda Inc. are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume Mille-Feuilles (Custard) which they produced. The affected product contains milk which is not declared on the label.
The affected product, Milles-Feuilles (Custard), is sold in 450 g packages bearing the code 12151 and the UPC 8 93837 00048 6.
This product has been distributed in Quebec.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.
The manufacturer, Pâtisseries Sanda Inc., Brossard, QC, is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
