Issue
On certain trucks, the brakes may release too slowly when the brake pedal is released. Canadian regulations require brakes to release within a certain time.
Safety risk
Brakes that release too slowly could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to install an additional brake release valve and fittings on the air brake system.
