Transport Canada Recall - 2023697 - DAIMLER TRUCK NORTH AMERICA

Issue:
On a small number of electric trucks, the daytime running lamps (DRLs) may not turn on when the vehicle starts moving. Canadian regulations require that DRLs must be on while driving, unless the headlamps or fog lamps are switched on.

Safety Risk:
Driving without daytime running lights could make the vehicle less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
DTNA will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to update the vehicle software.
