Transport Canada Recall - 2023694 - VOLVO TRUCKS

Issue: On one truck equipped with a Hendrickson Composilite steerable lift axle, the steering knuckles may not have been assembled properly during production. As a result, oil could leak from the wheel hub and cause the axle spindles to become loose and separate. Safety Risk: Parts that separate from the truck could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Volvo Trucks will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering knuckles assemblies.
