Issue
In certain conditions, the engine may be too loud and may not meet certain sound emission requirements of Canadian regulations. Note: This recall only affects certain snowmobiles with a Patriot 850 engine.
Safety risk
An engine that is too loud could increase the risk of a hearing injury.
Corrective actions
Polaris will notify owners by mail and provide you with rubber trim and installation instructions. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the trim installed at a Polaris dealership.
