Issue

Issue:
On a small number of VNR Electric trucks, the coolant lines inside the high-voltage battery pack may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, coolant can leak inside the battery pack and cause a short circuit.

Safety Risk:
A short circuit in the high-voltage battery could create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.

Corrective Actions:
Volvo Group will notify owners in writing and arrange for the high-voltage battery pack supplier (Akasol) to inspect and, if necessary, repair or replace the battery packs.
