Issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the pivot bolt for the foldable upper bunk may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the upper bunk could collapse and drop down on top of a person using the bottom bunk. Safety Risk: An upper bunk that falls could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to replace and tighten the pivot bolts for the foldable upper bunk.
