Issue
Issue:
On certain snowmobiles, the throttle cable may have been kinked when it was installed. As a result, the throttle could stick open when you release the throttle lever. If this happens, you could lose control of the snowmobile.
Safety Risk:
A throttle that sticks open could cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your snowmobile to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the throttle cable. To reduce the safety risk, Polaris recommends that you should not use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed.
