Issue
Issue:
On certain side-by-side UTV's, the accelerator pedal may not return when it is released. This could cause the throttle to stick open.
Note: This recall replaces R-21-01 (Transport Canada Recall 2021-008). If your UTV was inspected as a part of that recall, but the accelerator pedal was not replaced, your UTV requires this repair.
Safety Risk:
A throttle that sticks in the open position could cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your UTV to a dealer to replace the accelerator pedal. To reduce the safety risk, the company recommends that you should avoid driving your UTV until the recall repairs have been completed.
