Issue

Issue:
On certain trucks, the side mirror glass may not be properly attached. This could cause the mirror glass to fall off.
Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2019-375 (Hino recall M0330). Vehicles that were inspected or repaired under that recall also require this second inspection or repair.

Safety Risk:
A missing mirror will reduce rear visibility and could increase the risk of a crash. If the mirror glass falls from the vehicle, it could strike another vehicle or pedestrian.

Corrective Actions:
Hino will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealer to inspect the build date of mirrors. The mirrors will be replaced as necessary.
