Issue
On certain trucks, the retaining clip on the transmission oil cooler line may fail. If this happens, the cooler line could detach from the radiator. This can result in a transmission fluid leak.
Safety risk
A transmission fluid leak could create a hazard for others by making the road slippery.
Corrective actions
Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect and repair the transmission fluid cooler lines connections on the radiator tank.
