2018 | POLARIS | RANGER XP 1000, 2018 | POLARIS | PRO XD

Issue

On certain side-by-side UTV's, if a clutch belt breaks and frays, parts of the belt could potentially wrap around secondary clutch and damage the fuel line. This could cause a fuel leak.

Safety risk

A fuel leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire.

Corrective actions

Polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to add a flange to the outlet duct retainer to protect the fuel line.
