Issue:
On some tires, a separation could develop in the lower sidewall area. Over time, the issue could lead to loss of air pressure or a tire failure.
Safety Risk:
A tire failure could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
The company will send a letter to registered owners to advise them of this problem. If you have these tires, you should inspect the tire date code to see if your tires are affected. You should contact a Cooper Tire dealer if you have tires with these date codes or if you need help inspecting them. All tires affected by this recall will be replaced.
The following date codes are affected:
Discoverer SRX - 3818 to 4118
Evolution H/T - 2918 to 4118
