Transport Canada Recall - 2017294 - POLARIS

On certain vehicles which had a rear swing arm previously replaced under recall T-16-06 (Transport Canada no. 2016-520), the swing arm may have been installed without two dust plug grommets. Without dust plug grommets, debris could contaminate the rear wheel speed sensor, which could affect ABS and Traction/Stability Control functions, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect for the presence of the grommets, and install if found missing. Note: If the speed sensor were to become inoperative, ABS and Traction/Stability control dash lights would illuminate.
