Issue
Certain vehicles equipped with Neway ADZ Tridem rear suspension may not comply with the brake timing requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 121 - Air Brake Systems. The brake control airline between the two relay valves is plumbed with a 3/8" airline but should be plumbed with a 1/4" line to balance the service brake application timing and meet the requirement of the standard. An oversized airline could cause a delay in brake activation and increase stopping distances, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update and modify the brake piping of the air brake system.
