On certain livestock trailers equipped with an automatically latching rear gate, the exterior gate latch handle may not be within reach of some users when inside the trailer with the gate closed. Although most users can operate the gate handle from within the trailer (through the openings in the sides of the exterior walls), for others the handle may be out of reach due to various factors such as height, arm length, etc. Personal injury could occur should someone become trapped within the trailer. Correction: Dealers will install an update kit which includes a handle accessible from inside the trailer.
