Issue
On certain vehicles converted for mobility-impaired persons, an incorrectly positioned brake hose support may cause undue wear to the passenger-side rear brake hose. This could cause the brake hose to fail, resulting in brake fluid leakage. If this occurs, the brake pedal stroke will increase and the brake warning lamp will eventually illuminate indicating low brake fluid level. A brake fluid leak could cause increased stopping distances, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the passenger-side rear brake hose. In cases where horizontal clearance is insufficient (during rear suspension travel) the support bracket will be adjusted.
