Affected products

This recall involves all SRAM 12-speed Shift Brake Levers produced prior to July 1, 2023 and sold as upgrade or replacement kits. The serial number is laser etched on the top of the reservoir cover or on the top of the cylinder sleeve.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled SRAM shift brake levers and inspect their levers for tightness. If the shift brake lever rotates or is loose, the consumer should contact an authorized SRAM dealer for a  free brake installation inspection. If the brake installation is loose at the dealer inspection, the clamp bolt assembly will be tightened or replaced at no charge to the consumer.
