Product description
This recall involves Advanced Group carbon forks on certain 2012 model year Specialized bicycles:

Hazard identified
The brake boss housed within the carbon fork on the specified Specialized bicycles can disengage from the fork and allow the brake assembly to contact the wheel spokes while rotating, posing a fall hazard.
Specialized has received two reports in the United States and one in Canada of the brake boss disengaging from the carbon fork. No injuries have been reported.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.

Approximately 234 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold in various stores across Canada from August to December 2011.
