Hazard identified
These products do not carry the mandatory labelling and child-resistant closure as required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 and contain ingredients that can be hazardous if ingested and aspiration occurs. Aspiration occurs when the product is coughed up or vomited after being ingested. This coughing/vomiting could cause small particles of the product to travel into the lungs and may result in serious health effects.
Neither Pomeroy/San Miguel, Bed Bath & Beyond nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.

Approximately 11,186 units of the recalled products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from May 2007 to September 2012.
