Product description
This recall involves the Party Gear Furry Boa. The boa is made of marabou feathers in black or orange and can be identified by the UPC 062823371620 and the item number 37162.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and testing program revealed that the boa does not meet the requirements for textile flammability under Canadian law.
The boa can catch on fire and cause injury to consumers if exposed to a flame or other heat source such as candles, matches, lighters, stove elements or spark from fireplaces that can cause burns to consumers.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these feather wings.

Approximately 1,368 units of the recalled feather boas were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled feather boas were sold from August 2012 to September 2012.
