 Immediately remove the drawstring from the hoodie to eliminate the hazard.

Affected products

This recall involves the Nununu Tie Dye Hoodie made from 100% cotton.  The hoodie is black and grey, with a tie dye print.

Issue

Drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.

As of December 21, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product in Canada.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the children’s upper outerwear to eliminate the hazard. 

Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.

Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
