Hazard identified

Health Canada has established that the gun care products do not meet the mandatory packaging and labelling requirements, as required under Canadian law.

The product lacks the symbols and warnings required for consumer chemicals. This lack of packaging and labelling information may lead to serious injury.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.

Number sold

Approximately 3,280 units of the products were sold in various stores across Canada

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from September 2008 to April 2010.
