Product description
This recall involves the Sanus Vision Mount model LF228-B1 full-motion wall mounts distributed by Milestone AV Technologies LLC. The wall mounts were sold for flat screen televisions. The model numbers can be found on the UL sticker located on the wall plate.
Hazard identified
The elbow joint components on the wall mount's arm do not fit together properly, causing the attached television to tilt and possibly fall when the television is adjusted. This could pose an injury hazard to a consumer.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
Number sold
Approximately 600 of the recalled products were sold through various independent television mount dealers across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from June 2009 to June 2010.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately inspect the wall mount to determine if the elbow joint fits properly and contact Milestone for instructions.
Consumers who own a model LF228-B1 product that has not yet been installed, a free replacement arm assembly should be ordered from Milestone Customer Service to be used for the installation. Alternatively, consumers may bring the LF228-B1 back to the place of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
