Expanded Recall: IKEA LETTAN Mirror recalled due to injury hazard

Summary
Immediately stop using the recalled mirror and order replacement wall fittings free of charge or return it to IKEA for a refund.
Affected products
The following products are included in this recall:
- All LETTAN mirror sizes with a date stamp before and including 2105 (YYWW)
- All LETTAN mirror sizes with supplier number 21944 and a date stamp before and including 2325 (YYWW)
The date stamp (YYWW) is a 4 digit code where YY are the last two digits of the year, and WW is the week number. The date stamp and supplier number can be found on a label on the backside of the LETTAN mirror.
Issue
IKEA has identified that some of the plastic fittings, attaching the mirror to the wall, appear to be breaking, which could lead to the mirrors falling, posing an injury hazard.
As of August 29, 2023, the company has received no incidents or reports of injury in Canada. Globally, the company has received 65 incidents of mirrors falling due to what appear to be breaking wall fittings. Minor property damage and one minor injury have been reported.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled LETTAN mirrors. IKEA urges all customers who own an affected LETTAN mirror to stop using it, and to order replacement wall fittings free of charge. Consumers may also return the mirror to IKEA for refund. A receipt is not required.
