Product description
The recalled bicycles have the markings "ElliptiGO" on both sides of the main frame tube. The word "Arc" is decaled on both sides of the rear portion of the frame.
The Arc 3 has one gear indicator and displays the number "3".
The Arc 8 has one gear indicator and displays the number "8".
The Arc 24 has 2 gear indicators, one on each side of the handlebar.
Hazard identified
The frame of the bicycle can fail, posing a fall hazard to the rider.
As of September 3, 2021, the company has received 1 report of the frame failing in Canada, and 1 report of minor injuries. In the United States, the company has received 11 reports of the frame failing during use, and 6 reports of minor injuries.
Number sold
The company reported that 31 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and 3,700 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from November 2015 to July 2021.
