Immediately stop using the recalled Dooya External Battery for Cordless Window Blinds, request a replacement, and dispose of the product.
Affected products
This recall involves external lithium-ion battery packs used to power cordless window blinds. The recalled battery packs are white and are approximately 27 cm long by approximately 2.54 cm in diameter. The recalled battery packs weigh about 283 grams. The recalled battery packs have numerical codes on the white label on the side of the product. The model and production lots are printed on the battery.
Issue
The recalled battery may overheat, posing a fire hazard.
As of December 1, 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the Unites States, the company has received five reports of the batteries overheating in consumer homes, one report of a battery overheating in a commercial factory, one report of fire in a commercial warehouse. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product, request a replacement and dispose of the product.
