This recall involves the Danby 1500 Watt adjustable oscillating space heater. The recalled product is 11″ (28cm) in height and can be identified by model number DBSH01113WD13, UPC 067638030205, and the manufacturing date of June 2022.
Issue
As of July 11, 2023 the company has received 2 reports of incidents, and no reports of injuries in Canada.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled product. Consumers can contact Danby and provide a photo showing the unit's cord has been cut in order to receive a full refund.
