Zimmer is initiating a Lot specific recall of the Coonrad/Morrey Total Elbow Replacement Set bushings and pins for use with size regular elbow, due to the potential that the affected lot could include an extra small inner pin instead of the required regular inner pin.
An extra small inner pin is not long enough to fully engage a regular outer pin, therefore the click described in the surgical technique would not be heard or felt during intra-operative assembly.
