Carter’s One-Piece Fleece Footed Pyjama recalled due to Possible Skin Puncture/Scratch Hazard
Immediately stop using the recalled Carter’s one-piece fleece footed pyjama and return the product to a Carter’s store for a full refund in the form of a gift card.
This recall involves Carter’s one-piece yellow fleece footed pyjama with an all over heart design and an animal graphic. The style number is 1O102410. It was sold in three sizes with three UPCs.
The style number can be found on the front of the care tag sewn on the inside of the product, and the UPC number can be found on the back of the same care tag. The style number and UPC number can also be found on the price tag.
The company identified small pieces of metal wire in a small number of units of the recalled product. If a consumer contacts the edge of a wire piece, it could pose a possible skin puncture or a scratch hazard.
As of November 8, 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada and the Unites States.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return it to a Carter’s store location for a full refund in the form of a gift card. Consumers may also contact the Carter’s Consumer Affairs department and request a free return label and envelope to return the product for a refund in the form of an electronic gift card.

The company reported that 217 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and approximately 12,300 were sold in the United States.
