Issue
The Akfix 705 Universal Fast Adhesive and Activator were labelled with the health and safety information on hazardous products intended for use, handling, or storage in Canadian workplaces, and lack the symbols and warnings required for consumer chemicals. Health Canada has evidence of sale of the products to consumers and this lack of appropriate labelling and child-resistant packaging could result in unintended exposure to these products and lead to serious illness or injury, or death.
As of February 26, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
