The bevel is missing from the non-patient (NP) needle end of the Eclipse Blood Collection Needle. If there is no bevel, the needle may damage the sleeve, causing leakage. Additionally, it may make it difficult to insert the BD Vacutainer blood collection tubes onto the NP end.
