Issue
The recalled products contain plastic microbeads as defined in the List of Toxic Substances in Schedule 1 to the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). Plastic microbeads are considered toxic to the environment under CEPA.
As of August 2, 2023 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return them to the store they bought the product from to ensure proper disposal.
