Product description
This recall involves the "Wooden Ball Top" and "Wooden Walking Dog" toys by Daiso. The "Wooden Ball Top" is a brightly coloured wooden ball top that consists of a hemispherical body and multi-coloured smaller balls attached to the body by a wooden arm. The "Wooden Walking Dog" is a brightly coloured wooden toy dog on wheels, with a pull rope and leather ears.
The recalled "Wooden Ball Top" toy can be identified by UPC 4526324045214, and the recalled "Wooden Walking Dog" toy can be identified by UPC 4984343479159, both of which can be found on the product packaging.
Hazard identified
Testing by Health Canada has determined that the recalled toys may release small parts; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.
Neither Daiso Store Canada Ltd. nor Health Canada has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.

Number sold
Approximately 30 units of the recalled "Wooden Ball Top", and approximately 59 units of the "Wooden Walking Dog", were sold at the Daiso store in Richmond, British Columbia.
Time period sold
The recalled "Wooden Ball Top" was sold from September 2006 to February 2010, and the recalled "Wooden Walking Dog" was sold from June 2008 to February 2010.
