The affected products include models: DR-W01AS, DR-W02AS, DR-W01AN, 33208, 56208, 93208, 93110, T28048, CS02879.
Issue
The accredited certification body issued a public notice after receiving a consumer incident and identifying a risk of electrical shock. An electric short will develop when this product is connected to a wall outlet with a two-line feed, posing a risk of electrical shock and a fire hazard to the user and bystanders. Health Canada believes that this product likely poses a danger to human health or safety.
As of December 5th, 2022, the company has received 1 reported incident in Canada, with no injuries reported.
