Product description
This recall involves the Liquid Drain Opener with model number W01-032, sold under the brand name "Clear Drain" by Hansol Industries Inc. The drain cleaner comes in a 909 mL white plastic bottle with a white child-resistant cap and red label.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's auditing process has revealed that the recalled products do not meet labelling requirements under Canadian law. This lack of labelling information, including appropriate warnings, may lead to serious injury.
Neither Health Canada nor Hansol Industries Inc. has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.
Number sold
Approximately 1,128 units of the recalled products were sold at various independent stores in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from November 2009 to July 2010.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the products and return them to the place of purchase for a replacement label. After the replacement label is received and affixed on the container, the product can be used safely again, when following all safety warnings and statements. Consumers may also dispose of the product as per Municipal Hazardous Waste Guidelines, if they do not want a new label.
