Hazard identified
The recalled product does not meet the labelling requirements for consumer chemical products required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
These products pose an aspiration hazard if inhaled or ingested. The lack of labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness or injury, including death.
Aspiration into the lungs can occur when the product enters the lungs directly or is coughed up or vomited after being ingested. This coughing/vomiting could cause small particles of the product to travel into the lungs, or the product may be inhaled directly in the form of a fine mist. This may result in serious health effects.
As of December 7th, 2020, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

The company reported that 33,414 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
