Hazard identified
Drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.
As of December 16, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 236 units of the affected product were sold at Athletic Locker retail stores in Kitchener and Niagara Falls and warehouse sales in Oakville and Cambridge in Ontario.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from October, 2019 to December, 2019.
