Underfilling of tubes could result an incorrect additive-to-blood ratio, which could cause erroneous test results that potentially could lead to improper diagnosis or treatment. Also, the investigation indicated the defects occurred during a specific timeframe that this batch was manufactured and there is no indication that other batches were affected.
