Product description

This recall involves the pods from the Uwell Marsu Pod Kits as well as the replacement pods. These products can be identified with the following UPCs:

  • UPC 6970305348562 (Grey)
  • UPC 6970305348579 (Blue and Black)
  • UPC 6970305347824 (Black)
  • UPC 6970305347831 (White)
  • UPC 6970305347862 (4 Pack Replacement Pods)

Hazard identified

The recalled products do not meet the child-resistant packaging requirement for refillable vaping parts required by Part 2 of the Vaping Products Labelling and Packaging Regulations under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

Vaping liquids containing nicotine pose a poisoning hazard if ingested. Improper packaging and labelling could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness, injury or death.

As of October 15, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

The company reported that 3,623 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from January 2020 to June 2021.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to Valor Distributions for a full refund.
