Product description
This recall involves the Fusion Canada utility heater identified by item number 10111, factory model number H-11 and date code 06-10. The heater is black and silver with the "FC" logo on the front.
Hazard identified
An electrical component in the product can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers.
The Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) of Ontario has received one report of this heater where overheating caused damage to the heater. No injuries have been reported.
Health Canada has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these heaters.
Number sold
Approximately 9,872 units of the affected heaters were sold at Wal-Mart stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from September 2010 to March 2011.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
