Hazard identified
The recalled products do not meet the labelling requirements for consumer chemical products required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. In addition, Krylon™ Glitter Blast Spray products do not meet the requirements under the Consumer Chemical and Container Regulations, 2001 with respect to flame projection limits.
This lack of labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness, injury or death. Not meeting the requirements related to flame projection may increase the flammability hazard when spraying the product, which could lead to serious injury or fire.
As of August 23, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injury.

Approximately 19,424 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

The affected products were sold in Canada from 2004 to August 21, 2019.
