Product description
This recall involves a black universal charger with model number YH-4096 96 W. The word "Power" is embossed on the top of the charger.
Hazard identified
The affected product has not been tested to determine whether it is compliant with Canadian standards for product safety and may pose a fire hazard.
The Electrical Safety Authority has received one report of a charger overheating and melting. Neither Health Canada nor S.G. Impex has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this charger.
