Ottawa, January 10, 2011 - The public warning issued on January 7, 2011 has been amended to correct the Lot Code of one of the recalled products, the Choripdong brand Vegetable Dumpling.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Seoul Trading Corporation are warning people with allergies to egg proteins not to consume certain Misori brand and Choripdong brand frozen dumpling products described below. The affected products contain egg which is not declared on the label.
The following frozen dumpling products, imported from Korea, are affected by this alert:

These products have been distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
There has been no reported allergic reaction associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to egg proteins.
The importer, Seoul Trading Corporation, Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
