Product description
This recall involves UBERHAUS propane gas barbecues bearing model number 780-0002B and serial numbers starting with 20117800002B.
Hazard identified
The product may have a manufacturing defect that can cause a fire.
RONA Inc. and Health Canada have received one reported incident where flames were seen at the temperature control panel upon ignition. There have been no reported injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 400 recalled barbecues were in sold in Réno-Dépôt stores in Quebec and in Rona stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled barbecues were sold from February 2012 to April 2012.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the barbecue and return it to a RONA or Réno-Dépôt store for a full refund.
