Product description
This recall involves a two pack of gray 3 prong adaptors. The recalled adaptors can be identified by model number 419-2, which is on the top right corner on the front of the packaging. The word "Electronic" is printed up the left side on the front of the packaging.
Hazard identified
The recalled devices are not certified to Canadian standards and have not been evaluated for safety hazards. The recalled adaptors pose a risk of electrical shock to users.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this product.
Number sold
The number of products sold at various dollar stores across Canada is not known.
Time period sold
The recalled products were distributed to the dollar stores from June 2007 to June 2009.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
