Product description
This recall involves the Twist'N Sparkle Starter Set, the Twist'N Sparkle Bottle Set and the CO2 chargers used with the product. The product is made up of a clear plastic bottle, and a CO2 charger which is used to carbonate the liquid inside the bottle.

Hazard identified
With repeated use, certain clear plastic bottles develop micro-cracks around the four grooves at the base of the bottle. Under pressure, the bottles could burst, which would release plastic fragments with sharp edges, as well as other components of the product. These fragments pose a laceration hazard to consumers.
iSi GmbH has received eight reports of incidents in the United States.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these bottle sets.
Number sold
Approximately 7,130 recalled bottle sets were sold at various retailers across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled bottle sets were sold from October 2011 to March 2012.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bottle sets and are instructed to take the products back to the retailer from whom the product was purchased for a full refund.
